The Story Behind The Cozy Cube

Hi, I’m Ash.

Before The Cozy Cube, our house looked like most family homes — play tents in the corner, bulky kitchens, toys everywhere… and half of it barely getting used.

It felt like a lot.

One afternoon we were building a cubby with our play couch, and I grabbed an old sheet, cut it up and drew on it. Nothing perfect. Just a little café on one side and an ice-cream shop on the other.

The kids were obsessed.

It wasn’t fancy, but it worked. It turned something we already owned into something new. And that felt different.

Friends started asking if I could make one for them. At the same time, I was searching online for something similar… and I couldn’t find what I was actually looking for.

So I decided to create it.

What started as one homemade panel for my own kids slowly turned into designs, samples, late nights, and learning as I went. Finding the right manufacturer took time, but every step made me realise this little idea had something special.

And then I had another thought…

Not every family has a play couch.

That’s where the adjustable pole came in, so panels could hang in doorways, hallways, over tables or between chairs. Because imaginative play shouldn’t depend on owning one specific piece of furniture.

The Cozy Cube was created to make play simple.
Flexible.
Easy to set up.
Easy to pack away.

Less clutter.
More imagination.

It’s for the mums who want less screen time without turning their house into a toy store. It’s for the kids who can turn a hallway into a café and a couch into a vet clinic.
